Wellview Health: Why are We Here?
At Wellview Health (WVH), our mission is to inspire people and impact lives through consumer-driven clinical and behavioral health services that initiate lasting, lifestyle change. Within our mission, we seek to educate patients about personal health and health risk, simplify patient access to preventative health and lifestyle services and partner with patients in achieving their health goals. We're coaching for health, and one way we hope to impact and elicit positive health and wellness changes is through our on-site 3 Step Check Up and Ongoing Health Coaching Sessions.

What is Health and Wellness?
Health is a state of being free from injury and illness. Whereas Wellness can be easily defined as your optimal physical and mental health. Thus, peak wellness can be described in various ways including having a:
- Sense of fulfillment
- Optimistic mind-set
- Strong and toned body
- Calm and stress-free mind
- Healthy body weight
- Nutritious meal plan
- Disease free life
- Balanced work/life schedule
What can I expect during my 3 Step Check Up?
No matter how you define your ideal wellness, we understand the importance of the Big Picture. Thus, we have developed an easy 3 Step Check Up to give us a better idea of where you in your Wellness Journey.STEP ONE...Your first step is to complete an online Health Assessment & schedule your onsite Bio-screening and Healthy Living Assessments. This assessment was developed using evidence based algorithms based off of USPSTF (United States Preventive Services Task Force) guidelines & CDC(Center for Disease Control and prevention) vaccination recommendations. We also use validated questionnaires for chronic disease states including asthma, COPD, depression, cardiovascular disease, sleep apnea, tobacco cessation and diabetes. The results of your questionnaire gives you a snapshot of your individual health and wellness. This also allows your WVH Health Advisor to better understand your current risk state. Then we assess your readiness to change in areas like diet, exercise, stress and tobacco cessation.
Stay tuned for parts two and three!
