Organize Your Life at Home

The kids are heading back to school, seasons are at the front of change, work is still hanging at your constant beck and call, and household chores linger on your endless to-do-list. With life’s responsibilities pulling you in different directions, living an organized life at home has never been more important. Being more organized decreases stress and nervousness which ultimately improves your overall wellbeing. In order to achieve an organized home life, we must look a little closer at that giant to-do-list of chores and narrow it down to a smaller, more obtainable list. Organizing your list of chores by when they need to be done will not only prevent your mind from becoming overwhelmed, but also ensure that there aren’t certain things being swept under the rug (literally and figuratively). Think about things you have to do daily, twice a week or so, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and annually. Projects are a part of the at-home stress too but should be kept separate of our chore list. Personally, I feel more organized when I keep a list of chores on my fridge and can check them off every day, week, month, and year! Here’s a template for you to use in order to check off those pesky chores, making your home life more organized and fulfilling.

Other ideas to organize your household duties is to use a calendar dedicated just for chores or even set phone reminders on the days you wish to accomplish certain things. When it comes to projects at home, simply list them in order of priority and take one on at a time until each is complete!

I hope this template of chores inspires you to make a list of your own to keep stress at bay and your well-being a top priority! :)
