Houseplants are more than aesthetically pleasing. They actually enhance your health!
You’ve likely heard that trees release oxygen and carbon dioxide. Well, so do plants. This natural process actually cleans the air you breathe by removing unwanted toxins that enter your body via your airways. In a study published in 2015, researchers found that “active interaction with indoor plants can reduce physiological and psychological stress...This is accomplished through suppression of sympathetic nervous system activity and diastolic blood pressure and promotion of comfortable, soothed, and natural feelings.” This research among others suggests that a house plant can in fact improve blood pressure, boost mood, decrease stress, enhance production and improve concentration. The benefits of house plants also make them worth considering as an addition to your office.
Here are a few houseplant ideas to help you get started.

The snake plant is plainly revered as one of the top houseplants in the horticultural world. The reason being, this plant is among one of the most efficient toxin reducers and oxygen producers.
