
Teas have long since been known for their numerous health benefits. This tea is made with pain fighting, anti-inflammatory ingredients that packs a punch to the tastebuds. It is full of antioxidants, reduces undesirable G.I. issues and can even help fight cancer.
Presenting (Honey-Lemon) Turmeric Ginger Tea!

INGREDIENTS:
1 tsp ground turmeric powder
The deep yellow spice has been found to decrease inflammation, boost immune system and fight cancer. The spice can be found in soups, sauces, pastas, dressings and more. Turmeric is also used as food coloring in some foods and can brighten your day with it vibrant golden yellow color.
1 Tbsp grated fresh ginger
The root is the perfect GI Aid. It it is reported to help with nausea, motion sickness, upset stomach and indigestion. Ginger may also lower blood pressure and decrease the risk of blood clots.
A few grinds of ground black pepper
The pepper can enhance the cancer fighting agent found in turmeric called curcumin. Definitely can’t hurt to add!
Juice of half a lemon (or more or less to taste)
The juice is loaded with immune boosting Vitamin C, antioxidants and antibacterial properties. Plus, lemon juice enhances the flavor of the tea ten-fold. Yum!
½ tsp raw local honey (or more or less to taste)
The sweet is an antibacterial, antifungal and phytonutrients powerhouse. With its wound and infection fighting agents, honey is an excellent addition to this pain fighting tea.
4 cups of water

DIRECTIONS:
- Combine turmeric, ginger, pepper and water in a pot. Place on stove and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and let simmer for 10-20 minutes
- Let cool to your liking then strain using mesh strainer or strainer cloth.
- Add lemon juice and raw honey as desired.
- Enjoy!
**Store extra tea in a mason jar in the fridge. Reheat or enjoy chilled.
