When is the Best Time to Exercise?

This answer varies based upon the specific question you ask, your training goals, and your exercise adherence. I get this question a lot. So, I'm going to offer my suggestions and hopefully answer any questions you may have. When it comes to putting in the effort to stay in shape, most people give excuses such as lack of results or lack of time. Therefore, I recommend exercising when you have the most energy. You need to have the motivation to give your workouts 100 percent. Consistency is the key to your results so it's vital to keep a regular routine. For our convenience, we have 24 hour gyms that offer access around the clock. I would recommend joining one of these facilities if your schedule is limited and doesn’t seem to work with other gyms' hours.

For example, if you’re a morning person, it might be convenient for you to exercise before work or even on your lunch break. It doesn’t take long to achieve an optimal and efficient workout. You can notice results exercising 30 minutes a day, 4 to 5 days a week. Exercising in the morning has been proven to increase energy levels as well as lower stress. Once your work day is finished, you already have your workout complete. You may even notice and increase in your energy levels later in the day. The good news is that you get to decide the best time for you to exercise based upon your personal goals, schedule and lifestyle. Ideally, you will pick a time that you are able to stick with consistently and make part of your daily or weekly schedule. If you don’t know your best time, try work out in the morning for a few weeks, then try noon, then early evening. Pick which time you enjoy most and which makes you feel best afterward. Also, consider the type of exercise, and other daily commitments. Most of all, find a time that helps you make your exercise a regular, consistent part of your life.
